Katelyn Mazurkewich (Head Coach)

My name is Katelyn, and I’m a proud Grande Prairie local currently playing for the Rustlers Women’s Volleyball team in Lloydminster. With eight years of volleyball experience, I’ve had the privilege of competing with Team Alberta for two years, as well as representing the Arctics team and the Alberta Winter Games team. As a back-to-back national champion, I’ve gained extensive knowledge and firsthand experience at the highest levels of the sport.

I created this training program to provide young athletes with the summer opportunity not every athlete gets. Unlike a traditional camp, this program operates more like a high-performance team, focusing on advanced training, fast-paced practices, and elite skill development. My goal is to support high-level players who may not have made teams like Team Alberta but are eager to push themselves, refine their skills, and train at a collegiate level. This program is designed to prepare athletes not only for competition but also to develop the skills and qualities that will set them apart during college recruitment.

My name is Elijah, and I am entering my fourth year as a member of the Lakeland College Rustlers men’s volleyball team. With six years of competitive volleyball experience, I have had the privilege of playing at an elite level, including playing in the U23 Australian national championship for New South Whales, where we secured a gold medal. My journey in the sport has provided me with valuable experience, and I am eager to share my knowledge and passion with the next generation of athletes. I am excited to take on the role of lead coach for the U16-18 boys program and look forward to helping young players develop their skills and reach their full potential.
